Oxidation stability testing

Definition: Refers to the ability of grease to res₽∏βπist oxidation during storage or λ§α♣when used under high-temperature c ‌onditions.

① The metal soap and ba​πααse oil components in grease are$✔&∑ prone to oxidation during long ∑-term storage or prolonged exδ™δposure to high temperφ‌atures and air. Oxidation resu¥ ©lts in grease deterioration, a λ≈decrease in dropping point, the for∏× ♦mation of acidic corrosive products, ₽♠↑₩gums, and substances tha÷₩ γt destroy the structure of th∑"e grease.

② The oxidation stability of ‌  grease mainly depends on the‍π type of base oil and the antioxida≈≥nt additives.
